Manchester United are close to ending their search for a new manager by appointing Ajax manager Erik ten Hag.
As reported by the Manchester, Ajax expect Ten Hag to leave the club and take over at Old Trafford before the start of next season. He has been interviewed for the job for the past two months and is the team's nominee for the summer.
The Dutchman will be responsible for overseeing the summer transition if all goes well and he confirms the job, which means he will be in charge of the early dawn. In addition to the expected arrival of Ten Hag, United have also set plans for a summer transfer window.
Also, as reported by the Manchester, United are working on a deal to sign Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips. The Reds desperately need a new face in the middle of the pitch, especially on the defensive side of the job.
Meanwhile, Ralf Rangnick will speak to the media today ahead of tomorrow's trip to Everton. We will bring you everything he says as it happens.
